This isn't a FORWARD or one of those pesky chain email thingees. This is from me (QM) personally.

There is a new craze in the middle schools (ages 10-14ish) called "CHOKE". The object of this monumentally stupid 'game' is to have someone choke you until you pass out or almost pass out. You have a safe word or gesture to end it before that or they just simply wait till you regain consciousness.

A few days ago, right here in my town, a young boy about 11 decided to try this alone at home using either a belt or rope (I don't have the details on which) and he died.

We're in some odd times in our days and the young ones seems to be gorging themselves on the negative and the bad and the fatal karma the planet is spewing out. Please have a chat with your son, daughter, niece, nephew, godchild whomever is around that age and nose out whether this 'game' is in their school.

I'm going to discuss it with my fourteen year old daughter, but in the form of belittling the whole idea and just laughing at how stupid people are. I would not insult her but suggesting that there is a remote possibility that she would engage in such shenanigans.

Where ever do they get these dumb ideas from? Hope it does'nt catch on and more innocent lives lost. Have they any idea the devastaion they leave for their families?

Life is all about fun and games until something goes deadly wrong. Gambling with death is a hit or miss; pray whoever is gambling doesn't get hit (aint no coming back!). The condoned ignorance of most people is sad, starting with parents. Some parents are allowing or opening up their doors to the uncensored world. Uncensored televised programs or stations is just one way children can participate in such ignorance; such as Jack-ass, real world, fear factor, etc…
